Course description
The focus of this course is two-fold. Students will gain a sound knowledge of (i) medical and surgical treatments as it applies to the majority of primary skin cancer presentations (including medications, cryotherapy, curettage, biopsy techniques and excision of skin lesions with direct repair); (ii) the therapeutic relationship (including educating patients about skin cancer, and knowing when to refer cases to ensure appropriate patient care.
