Course description
Geophysical exploration methods used for resource exploration & engineering applications. Emphasises seismic techniques, with additional practical investigations of non-seismic methods including potential field and electrical methods. Extends concepts introduced in ERTH2020. Includes significant exposure to practical computational exercises.
From 2016, permission from the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences (sees@enquire.uq.edu.au) is required for students to enroll in this course. Preference will be given to students who have passed ERTH2020, and who are enrolled in a Geological Sciences major.
