Course description
Geophysical exploration methods used for resource exploration & engineering applications. Emphasises seismic techniques, with additional practical investigations of non-seismic methods including potential field and electrical methods. Extends concepts introduced in ERTH2020. Includes significant exposure to practical computational exercises.
From 2016, permission from the School of Earth Sciences (earth.student.admin@uq.edu.au) is required for students to enroll in this course. Preference will be given to students who have passed ERTH2020, and who are enrolled in a Geological Sciences major.
