Why study the Master of Natural Resource Economics?
Natural resource economics is the study of using, consuming and protecting resources in the specialist fields of primary production and natural environment. Students gain a thorough grounding in the theory and application of agricultural and natural resource economics, and advance their analytical skills in a specialised field. Graduates have the ability to locate, interpret, integrate and apply knowledge from different disciplinary fields. The program trains students to effectively define an issue; analyse that issue; develop solutions or approaches to addressing the issue; and present an appropriate report.

- Public sector managers and policy analysts of the use and management of natural resources; and

To fulfil the requirements of the Master of Natural Resource Economics, a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.
