Placement courses
You will have the option to undertake up to 50 hours of supervised placements in a range of industries relevant to nutrition, physical activity and/or exercise. You will have the opportunity during your placements to apply your theoretical knowledge acquired through coursework to practice and develop your skills in an industry setting. You will commence your placements in the final year of the program. HMST3103 Nutrition, Sport and Physical Activity Management - Industry Placement has been developed to provide final year Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences students with hands-on experience in a related work environment. This program has pre-placement requirements which must be met prior to commencement of the program or a placement course. Prior to applying, applicants should ensure they will be able to meet the placement requirements. Students may be required to hold a current Blue Card (Working with Children Check). This is dependent on the requirements of their placement provider.
