Why study Food Technology?
Study a major in Food Technology to learn about the scientific composition of foods and the chemical reactions that take place during processing. You will examine key aspects in the development of food products. Develop your expertise in food preservation, processing operations, quality assurance and consumer product testing. Apply your knowledge and build your industry connections during your work placements at leading food manufacturing organisations. You'll be prepared to work in areas such as product development, quality assurance and food safety, food microbiology, research and development, food standards and policy or sales and marketing.
