The honours program in business management provides students with an extra year of high quality study to enhance their business and research skills.
An honours degree demonstrates to employers that you are someone with exceptional ability and superior skills. Places are strictly limited and are competed for on the basis of academic merit.
In addition to compulsory courses, including a research thesis, you can choose to study specialist areas in the fields of management, or real estate and development.

Program rules for the Bachelor of Business Management (Honours)
To complete the Bachelor of Business Management (Honours)
To fulfil the requirements of the Bachelor of Business Management (Honours), a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.
A student is required to obtain #16 from Part H of the BBusMan List. Refer to the BBusMan rules for further information.
The class of honours is calculated on the basis of the grade point average of the results obtained by a student in the first attempt at all courses that contribute to the program (see PPL 3.50.12b of the Policy and Procedures Library).
Students should be aware of the University of Queensland policies and rules which govern the conduct of UQ programs. These may be found on the UQ policies and rules page on the my.UQ website.
