This field is designed to meet the needs of those people pursuing challenging careers in the property industry, eg property investment, property development, property management and valuation. Such careers require knowledge of business and land economic principles and the application of such principles to the real world. As such, this field interrelates with industry organisations and institutions and prepares students for the professional institutions involved in the property industry.
