Program rules for the Bachelors of Commerce/Economics
To complete the Bachelors of Commerce/Economics
To fulfil the requirements of the Bachelors of Commerce/Economics, a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.
A student is required to obtain #72 comprising -
- #18 of compulsory courses from Group 1 of the BEcon List (not including ACCT1101); and
- #16 of compulsory courses from Group 1 of the BCom List (not including ECON1010/1020/1310/1320); and
- #12 for either -
- one major in Group 2 of the BCom List (#6 must be at level 3); or
- elective courses from Group 3 of the BCom List (#6 must be at level 3, and only #2 may be at level 1); and
- #4 from Group 2 of the BEcon List; and
- #10 from Group 3 in the BEcon List; and
- #12 for (only #6 may be at level 1) -
- #4 of elective courses from Groups 2, 3 or 4 of the BEcon List; and
- #8 of general elective courses from the BCom List or BEcon List or from almost any other undergraduate program as approved by the Executive Dean.
