EXCHANGE PROGRAM: Because of the flexible nature of the BA degree program, BA students are ideally placed to participate in UQ's student exchange program. Many areas of study within the BA offer formal exchange programs to overseas Universities.

Why study the Bachelor of Arts?

The Bachelor of Arts is a flexible degree that provides students with the optimal balance between a defined sequence of study and flexible course options. This innovative program has been designed to develop graduates with the key practical skills and interdisciplinary knowledge required to be the leaders of tomorrow. The program will provide you with highly developed skills in written communication, problem-solving, critical thinking and interpersonal understanding. A BA graduate is someone who has gained skills and knowledge and can apply these skills in many different jobs, careers and life situations. You can choose from a wide range of majors, tailoring the degree to suit your own particular career aspirations. The program is also available in dual degree format.
