Why study Applied and Local History?

The field of Applied and Local History is designed to provide students with a broad understanding of heritage, applied history and family and community history. Courses combine training in research methods, history of heritage and built environment, applied history, and family and local history, along with specialist projects dedicated to particular student interests.
