This is a year long course. It commences in Semester 2, 2017 and completes in Semester 1, 2018.

Course description

This thesis course gives honours students the opportunity to undertake a substantial piece of work in a topic of interest as approved by the Head of School. This course is designed to be undertaken over 2 semesters and it is intended that students complete a literature review and research proposal in semester 2 and the research project is undertaken, analysed and written up in semester 1. Students are encouraged to choose a topic that is of particular interest to them personally and which is also relevant to their study area. On completion of this course, students are required to submit a Thesis of not less than 20,000 words. The thesis provides an opportunity for students to undertake a significant piece of research and as such is ideal preparation for the student to undertake higher research studies.
