Course description
Departmental consent required for enrolment. Please contact the School for permission to enrol.
First supervised practice experience for MSocWkSt students enrolled in the #32 unit program. Placement runs for 18 weeks commencing two weeks prior to the beginning of the semester, four days a week, in a social welfare agency. Focuses on integration of practice experience with course material and companion courses. Sem 1 dates - 14th February until 16th June 2011 Sem 2 dates - 11th July until 10th November 2011. Students must contact the Field Education Unit (fielded@uq.edu.au) for a pre-placement interview in August of the preceding year for semester 1 commencement and April of the same year for semester 2 commencement.
