Course description
This course introduces students to the key elements of social work practice including values, ethics, foundational knowledge and skills, and how these link to processes of assessment and intervention. The course provides a contextual framework that includes an understanding of the social work profession in its historical and current socio-economic, political and organisational contexts. The Master of Social Work (Q) program is accredited by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
