The course also explores the nature, aetiology, and characteristics of fluency disorders in adults, with an emphasis on differential diagnosis and evidence-based treatment approaches.
Through a combination of lectures, case studies, and practical tutorials, students will gain competencies in:
· Conducting comprehensive voice and fluency assessments
· Analysing normal and disordered voice characteristics and fluency behaviours
· Applying evidence-based treatment techniques to a range of voice and fluency disorders
· Understanding the psychosocial impacts of voice and fluency disorders on clients and their families
