Course description
This course focuses on the development of advanced writing skills in Spanish (pre-writing, writing and revision techniques) through engagement with four composition genres: narration, description, exposition and argumentation. The emphasis of the course is on writing as a process and as a form of critical inquiry and it is based on the exploration of personal narratives, academic writing and various types of media sources as well as film and literature criticism from the Spanish-speaking world. NOTE: Course offering may be cancelled unless a minimum of 20 students enrol.
