Course description
This course provides an introduction to mental health research. Students will be exposed to a variety of research methodologies and analysis methods. Students will then develop a research proposal which requires critical engagement with hypotheses, design, methods and data analysis methods suitable for their project topic. Students will gain practical experience with database searches, pragmatic project design and planning and program management, feasibility assessment and problem solving. Ethical research considerations and ethics applications will be covered in the course.
