Course description

This Practicum course provides the opportunity to develop clinical skills in treatment settings. The emphasis of the third placement is developing specialist treatment skills with an emphasis on psychodynamic and psychotherapy interventions and use of self as a therapeutic tool. Methods for maximising the impact of external factors that influence client change will be explored. Psychotherapy Field of Study requirements will be met by this course.
