Course description

This Practicum course provides the opportunity to develop clinical skills in treatment settings. The emphasis of the first placement is assessment of mental health issues including conducting a MSE, and developing formulations and treatment plans. An emphasis is on students demonstrating effective therapeutic engagement with clients. Psychotherapy Field of Study requirements will be met by this course.
