Course description
This course is designed to prepare students for clinical practice in the mental health field by critically engaging with key research, knowledge and skills relative to the common and specific factors paradigm. An emphasis is placed on how different therapeutic traditions conceptualise and manage different phases and tasks of treatment. The development of basic therapeutic skills required for effective therapeutic practice is also emphasised.
