Course description
Students engage in a guided research activity in a selected area of population health over a year. The project is designed to be flexible, with the specific setting, activities and outcomes which include a comprehensive written report, negotiated between the student and supervisor(s). Students must obtain permission from the course coordinator before they can enrol and have achieved a minimum GPA of 5.5 across at least 8 units of coursework, including a minimum of 4 units from Part A. Students enrolling into the Project course as full-time students (1 semester duration) must enrol in PUBH7900. Students enrolling into the Project course as part-time students (2 semesters duration) must enrol as follows: * When commencing the Project in Semester 1: PUBH7903 Part A, followed by PUBH7903 Part B in the subsequent semester of enrolment (Semester 2); or * When commencing the Project in Semester 2: PUBH7902 Part A, followed by PUBH7902 Part B in the subsequent semester of enrolment (Semester 1 of the following year) PUBH7902 and PUBH7903 are not offered in Summer Semester.
