Course description
PUBH7120 prepares students and develops their professional skills for working in the public health field. Students should enrol in this course in the final semester of Master of Public Health study after completing #16 units (8 courses) of study, including at least #8 units of core or Part A courses. Experienced public health practitioners and real-life case studies will provide practical insights in health prevention, promotion and protection, with diverse population groups, and in various settings, including the public sector (government), non-government organisations, consultancies and academia. Knowledge and abilities acquired throughout the Master of Public Health program will be synthesised and honed to increase a student¿s employability to work effectively in public health policy and practice.
