Course description
This course provides students with insights into the real life operation of policy processes within government and the skills they will need to contribute to and shape them, either from within government or from outside of it. This course concerns both analysing the processes of social policy making and use and application of analytical techniques for and in policy making. The purpose is to develop intellectual as well as practical capacity to be an effective policy practitioner. Assessment is based on actual tasks performed by policy analysts.
This course may not be run if there are fewer than 20 enrolments.
