Course description
This course aims to develop specific skills which will enable the student to improve their practice of pharmacy and will be integrated with knowledge gained in pharmacotherapy courses. This course introduces the student to advanced clinical pharmacy practice, with a focus on critical appraisal, drug information and evidence-based medicine (EBM) in patient centred, pharmaceutical care. It also includes topics such as diagnostics and monitoring, pharmacogenomics and drug interactions.
