Course description

The Teaching Team in this Course is committed to further optimise Pharmacy students¿ skills, knowledge, and attributes as practitioners-in-training in the area of Quality Use of Medicines. The focus will be on the therapeutic areas and treatments used in the nervous, endocrine, and gastrointestinal systems. The scope of teaching will include addressing a variety of related topics, such as organ/system malfunction and changes with age, therapeutics and dosing, development of individualised treatment and monitoring plans, various aspects of Pharmacy practice (e.g. dispensing and counselling), as well as any alternative and non-drug therapies.
