Course description

This course provides supervised professional practice experience for students in occupational therapy. Students attend a professional practice placement in an area of occupational therapy and undertake graded learning experiences to develop occupational therapy professional practice competencies. Placements in this course are only available in external mode where the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences has been able to source an overseas placement under a placement agreement. This is restricted to international students resident in their home country and unable to return to Australia to undertake placement. The Clinical Education Liaison Manager will contact students if an external placement offering is available.
