Course description

This online course focuses on the theoretical and philosophical models of nursing practice and their relevance to specified areas of nursing practice. This second specialist nursing course will assist the student to formulate plans of care for individuals/families within their respective area of specialty practice that are constructed using theoretical principles and research findings. Critical thinking, reflective practice and other related concepts and how they inform nursing practice will be examined. This course may not be offered internally if the enrolment is less than 8 students.
