Course description

This course examines music studio teaching from a number of perspectives. Areas of study and discussion include the shared interests and experience of teachers within the group and literature relating to a variety of pedagogical traditions, schools and techniques for comparative analysis and discussion. Important works of repertoire will be used as a focus for intensive study, and students will have the opportunity to pursue their own interests and areas of specialisation in particular areas.
