Course description
Overview of key parties involved in employment relations: employers, governments, tribunals and unions. Main methods for negotiating conditions of employment: employment contracts, common law, statute law, arbitration, enterprise bargaining. Legal regulation: dismissal & termination, health and safety, privacy, discrimination.
