Course description
Understanding the research process and developing critical thinking and analytical skills is vital to doctors in the evidence-based and ever-changing practice of medicine. This 16-week course will provide students with practical experience conducting a health-related research, implementation or development project under the supervision of an experienced researcher. Each student's primary contact will be with their project supervisor. Students will be kept on track by authentic assessments designed as project milestones and will have an opportunity to share their work with fellow students and supervisors at the end-of-semester research symposium.
