Course description
JAPN3040 is an intermediate level course that continues on from JAPN3030 (previously coded as JAPN3002). Students can take this course before, concurrently, or after the recommended companion course JAPN3020. Students who have completed JAPN31** coded and higher level courses are not eligible to enrol in this course. Structured similarly to JAPN3030, this course focuses on using Japanese to communicate functionally, coping with more involved materials and situations. The topics covered are planning trips, communicating using appropriate registers, and explaining steps, sequence, and rules.
