Course description
HMST4314 is one of the capstone courses within the Exercise and Sport Sciences program. It provides students with the opportunity to engage in a minimum of 400 hours of work integrated learning in any of (but not limited to) the following settings.
- Clinical measurements
- Sports performance
- Strength & conditioning
- Community and/or corporate fitness & health
- Exercise and sport science disciplines (e.g. biomechanics, physiology, skill acquisition, analytics)
- Sport science research
To undertake practicum, students must meet all mandatory requirements as outlined here: Prepare for your Exercise and Sports Sciences placement and provider specific requirements.
