Course description
This course is intended to give students the breadth necessary for an Honours degree in history. Each year, three separate seminar streams are offered (students select two of their choice), each stream using a particular thematic focus as a means to explore the past and allowing students to make a detailed study of particular historical topics and problems. The streams vary each year according to staff availability and rotation; in 2017 they are taught by A/Prof Andrew Bonnell (nationalism), A/Prof. Dolly MacKinnon (early modern material culture), and A/Prof. Kriston Rennie (memory and history).
