Course description
This course involves 400-480 hours of industry experience, through a work integrated learning placement in a production or service enterprise. It enables students to apply to that industry the theoretical knowledge and research skills they have developed earlier in the Master of Food Science and Technology program. Students will also acquire a greater understanding of industry operations and requirements, which will enhance their career opportunities. Information about enrolling in a placement course, including registering your interest and application deadlines, can be found here: science.uq.edu.au/placements. Eligible students will apply for UQ-sourced placement opportunities in a competitive selection process.
