Course description
This course guides students through selected works by the most famous author in the English language, exploring a variety of the literary modes and styles in which Shakespeare experimented. The types of work studied may include the history play (which deals with the Wars of the Roses in England in the Middle Ages), as well as tragedy, comedy, and romance. Also considered are some of Shakespeare's love poems. NOTE: Course offering may be cancelled unless a minimum of 20 students enrol.
