Course description
This course provides students with an overview of the multifaceted nature of career development practices that assist individuals to construct their careers including an introduction to career programs, career and labour market information, and the use of technology in career development. The career development practices covered in the course will be viewed through the lens of socially just and ethical practice. Consideration will be given to the diverse nature of client groups in the context of lifespan career development. Students will also give consideration to how they construct their own careers as professional, socially just and ethical practitioners. This course will not be offered internally if the enrolment is less than 10 students.
