Course description

This course aims to develop students¿ knowledge, confidence, and capacity to coordinate and lead programs of sport and physical activity within primary school settings (beyond Health and Physical Education). Topics covered within the course involve physical activity leadership, whole-school physical activity programs, and integration of physical activity in the classroom. Students will engage in a range of interactive learning experiences and authentic assessment tasks that will help them develop an understanding of the theory and practice underlying the abovementioned topics in primary school settings.
