Course description
Introduction to Dental Disciplines A will introduce students to the foundations of dental specialist disciplines. Students will demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the epidemiology, aetiology, pathology and prevention of gingivitis and mild periodontal disease, and develop appropriate manual dexterity skills for their management. At the completion of this course, students will apply dental materials science knowledge to specific tasks related to Prosthodontics and demonstrate the scientific principles of radiation and its safe use.
