Course description
Since the second half of the 20th century, there have been a variety of community media and ICT (information and communication technology) interventions in the field of development and social change. This course explores both the theory and best practice of community media and ICTs in development and is based on an extensive exploration of case studies from around the world. It deals with the contexts of development, analyses practical projects and also offers a critique of the gaps between principle and practice. The course is based on lectures and seminars.
