Course description
This course introduces students to the field of transportation engineering and provides fundamental knowledge required for the planning, design, and operation of transport systems to improve mobility, safety, and reliability of road networks. Topics cover basic principles and methods of traffic flow theory, traffic control, urban transport planning, travel demand forecasting, and highway geometric design.
