Course description
The course assumes a Chinese standard of HSK 2. Students should have successfully completed CHIN2100 or equivalent. They should possess basic skills in standard Mandarin pronunciation and have a complete mastery of the pinyin romanisation system. Knowledge of the grammar structures and vocabulary of Vol 1 textbook of Contemporary Chinese (Revised Edition) is assumed.
