Course description
Kinetics, including reaction mechanism, chain reactions, polymerisation reactions and collision theory. Phase transitions, vapour pressure, solutions, interfaces, surface tension, wetting, absorption, surfactants, Gibbs adsorption isotherm, micelles, adsorption at gas/solid interface, heterogeneous catalysis, insoluble monolayers.
