Course description
Acid/Base chemistry. Chemical kinetics, including heterogeneous catalysis, chain reactions and polymerisation kinetics . Phase transitions, vapour pressure, solutions, interfaces, surface tension, wetting, absorption, surfactants, Gibbs adsorption isotherm, micelles, adsorption at gas/solid interface, insoluble monolayers.
