Course description

This course will cover theoretical areas and attend to practical skills involved in native title research. It will draw on the growing literature in this area of applied anthropology and canvass some relevant international comparative anthropological work from selected other countries.

Native title anthropology now forms a significant aspect of disciplinary and professional theory and practice and anthropologists play a significant role in carrying out research related to Indigenous native title claims in Australia.
