Course description
Critical consideration of selected issues, methods and theories relevant to museum anthropology; integration of theory and practice in a major practical project.
ANTH2208 is an advanced, #2 course focusing on museums & museum anthropology, the purpose of which is to examine a range of theoretical and substantive problems relating to this area of anthropology. These issues will be explored through an examination of relevant literature and where feasible engagement with Anthropology Museum collections.
