Course description
This course will examine certain important themes, problems and individuals associated with the history of the Roman Republic. It will pay special attention to the breakdown of political order at Rome and to the debt owed by modern constitutions to the example set by the Roman Republic. The course may not run with 15 or fewer enrolments.
