Course description
This course addresses the need for science graduates with high-end communication skills. The course specifically addresses the need for advanced verbal and written skills that bridge from non-expert to expert audiences. Course participants will develop transferable skills that include effective visualisation of information, communication with industry, government and media, grantsmanship and writing scientific publications. The course complements other elements of the Honours year to ensure that students are highly competent communicators, not only in their field of expertise but also communicating outreach and popularisation of science.
