Course description
This course provides students with the ability to analyse and record accounting transactions, leading to the preparation of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements). Students are introduced to the analysis and interpretation of financial statements, where they are required to calculate and interpret key financial ratios, in order to gain insight into key aspects of, and make recommendations about, an entity's performance. Students are also introduced to the use of accounting software.
