Mechatronic Engineering
Part of the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Master of Engineering program
Students must complete for the BE (Hons)/ME (Mechatronic Engineering Plan code: MECTRX2350), 80 units comprising:
- 42 units, being all courses from part A - compulsory, years 1 to 3 of the BE(Hons) (Mechatronic) list; and
- 18 units from the combination of parts M and N, including all courses from part M; and
- 10 units from part B1 of the BE(Hons) (Mechatronic) list including at least 6 units at level three or higher; and
- 4 units from the combination of part N and part B1 of the BE(Hons) (Mechatronic) list and part N1 of the BE(Hons)/ME(Electrical) list and part B2 of the BE(Hons )(Mechanical) list and parts B and C of the BE(Hons )(Electrical) list; and
- balance from electives, being courses on the BE(Hons) list or on the BE(Hons)/ME list or other courses approved by the Executive Dean, with
- (i) a maximum of 4 units from courses on the BE(Hons) year 1, part D list, and
(ii) a maximum of 4 units from level one courses not on the BE(Hons) list.
