Electrical & Biomedical Engineering

Part of the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Master of Engineering program

Students must complete for the BE(Hons)/ME (Electrical & Biomedical Engineering Plan code: ELEBEX2350), 80 units comprising one of the following:

  1. 44 units being all courses from part A - compulsory, years 1 to 3 of the 2016 BE(Hons) (Electrical & Biomedical) list; and
  2. 22 units being all courses from part M - compulsory; and
  3. 10 units from the combination of part N and part B of the 2016 BE(Hons) (Electrical & Biomedical) list including a minimum of 4 units from part N; and
  4. balance from electives, being courses on the BE(Hons) list or on the BE(Hons)/ME list or other courses approved by the executive dean.
    OR
  1. 42 units being all courses from part A - compulsory, years 1 to 3 of the 2017 BE(Hons) (Electrical & Biomedical) list; and
  2. 20 units being all courses from part M - compulsory, except ENGG4810; and
  3. 14 units from the combination of part N and parts B and C of the 2017 BE(Hons) (Electrical & Biomedical) list with
    (i) a minimum of 4 units from part N; and
    (ii) a minimum of 4 units from part C of the BE(Hons) (Electrical & Biomedical) list; and
    (iii) a maximum of 4 units of level one courses
  4. balance (4 units) from electives, being courses on the BE(Hons) or on the BE(Hons)/ME list or other courses approved by the executive dean.
